This is my take on it.

    Gene Taylor really wants Klieman
KSU fans want a high profile coach
Coach Klieman wants to finish out the season at NDSU

So---KSU starts a nation wide search to appease KSU fans and to stretch out the timeline so Klieman can finish out the season. Gene Taylor is very sensitive to this scenario because of the bull**** that happened with Bohl. Some time after the semi finals they announce that Klieman is the coach.
But he will coach in the natty and Entz will be named the new coach at NDSU. In the mean time KSU will retain all the current assistant coaches to keep recruiting. After the natty Klieman will interview the coaches on staff at KSU to see who will be retained and who wont. Just like most transitions when a new coach comes in. This will also give Entz an opportunity to fill out his staff so when the time comes the transition will be seamless.

Zero chance of this happening, since GT wouldn't still be there to say "I told you so."

He could do so on his way out while flipping them the bird.

This is kind of what I've been thinking, but I'm not sure if it's realistic or if I have too thick gold and green glasses.

No way it plays out that long. KSU is not going to wait another week+ to announce their next coach imo.

I agree, they name their next coach in the next day or two. I thought if Kleiman was the guy we would have heard after today's game at some point.

This! Easton Stick is well spoken beyond his years. This kid has it all together. I hope he gets a legit shot at the next level. I’ll take him in Denver for sure. The quote begins 12:14.
