I don't think you can recruit better than Polasek. CAS might be a close second*...but I'd still tip my hat to Entz for HC. We've always had a HC that came from the defensive side of the ball. No reason to change the formula.

Some interesting details on the KState assistants....

Their offensive coordinator has a base salary guaranteed contract thru 2021.

Their defensive coordinator is owed one year of base salary if terminated without cause.

Many other position coaches have a one year guarantee similar to the defensive coordinator.
