I'm with you on that. There's a very strong chance nothing changes with that program. However, I'm a big Les Miles fan. My personal opinion, especially with the K-State drama, KU will be producing a better record than KState in the coming years.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with the end of this statement. KU would absolutely drop football if they didn't need the revenue. There is zero interest in that sport at KU, zero.

Even the year they managed to be good and go to the Orange Bowl, they didn't care.

K-State may not be Alabama, but they 100% rule that state for recruiting.
Sioux SUCK! It just has a nice ring to it.

Lots of reports that Seth Littrell is the guy for Kansas St. K-States message board said its a done deal and has been done for a month. Granted its all speculation, but seems like he is the name being thrown out there the most.

Feel like Klieman will be back next year, but who knows.

I don't think it's as dire in Lawrence as you think. There is interest in football, the locals hate that they can't get it together. After all, you don't have BB for almost 7 months out of the season.

Campus is pretty alive on football Saturdays.

18 wins from 2010 on would say otherwise.

None of that refutes what I said.

Yeah this does though. Also, not really a coincidence 3 of the 4 with lowest attendance are basketball schools. It's hard to be good at both.

The stadium is not overbuilt so it still feels not terribly empty in there and, like I said, there is still a buzz on campus on Saturdays. They actually have a pretty sweet tailgate setup there. You actually can watch the game on a big screen outside at the open end of the horseshoe. So the attendance figure comes with an asterisk.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
