I'm thinking Sunday also, if it is going to happen.

Only because it might take a little longer to figure out all the details on who will be the next head coach, and announce that at the same time. That would be ideal, I would think. With early signing, you don't have the luxury of a time-consuming search anymore, especially at the top-of-division level NDSU is at. I would hope that Larson has paid attention to recent history and has had an executable plan in place long before now.

From the k-statefans board, talking about Klieman coaching against KSU:

Heck, he got to sit around, drink a soda and eat popcorn for the last half of the 4th quarter of that game as they slowly and painfully and methodically marched it down our throats for the winning TD

There is a zero percent chance of that happening. Zero.

Unless you are actually Chris Klieman, you don't know that for sure.

Cue folks interpreting this as 100% guarantee I know what is going on.

I always like to think that there's a chance somebody someday will want to stick around and be the next Eddie Robinson. I find it hard to believe that Klieman hasn't already had a lot of interest. Of course none as good as this would be.

Really the Bohl scenario prepared us for more of this. It is what it is. Unfortunately, the fcs playoff timing couldn’t be worse.

I disagree. Early signing period is different now. Very little or no crossover with recruiting. Bohl was slimy the way he left. It's just an apples to oranges comparison. Bohl brought the entire staff with him and was a dick with recruiting. K state vs Wyoming is different. Plus Klieman wasnt buddies with Bohl. The current staff is pretty tight.

I wouldn’t necessarily say 0 percent maybe a 2 percent but definitely not 0. You have no idea if half a million dollars a year is enough for someone or not. Again, it’s extremely unlikely but nobody knows. Obviously the larger salary didn’t work for the UNT coach regardless if he couldn’t bring in his people. Sometimes money doesn’t talk loud enough.
