No meltdown because I totally respect Klieman and he earned this if it's true. This is a big time deal, not a lame Wyoming job. Hes given us many great years.

My only concern is Matt Larson not understanding that we win with out system and culture. He could absolutely destroy a dynasty if he doesnt know what hes doing. Look not further than GT hiring Klieman

Depends on the details of the reporting about cleaning house keeping Littrell out. Is KSU trying to keep all their assistants or just a chosen few. Or is it about the people at all or Littrell just wanting his assistants to be paid more that he brings in (seen some reports to that effect).

This still could end up with Klieman going and taking the bulk of the staff and Snyder just keeping his son there.

I will melt down if Larson doent promote from within and keep a similar path as we went from Bohl to Kleman.

Polasek should be in the discussion. Other than having the misfortune of having to be OC with all the scrutiny that comes with it, he's a pretty great example of the values the program prides itself on. Also a great recruiting in Wisconsin.

Entz would be right there as a candidate as well. Another DC promoted to HC and strong Twin Cities recruiter.

I honestly could see either as HC at NDSU. If it is Polasek, I think some fans should take a breath and keep an open mind.

Or open up the search and hire from the outside if you can find an excellent candidate who fits the system. More or a gamble, but why not see the type of talent this position could bring in?

I would have to imagine that Larson would follow the same process that got us Klieman. I would like to think he doesn’t want to be the person who single handily ended the dynasty that is NDSU Football. With that being said, maybe this whole time Mike Houston has been waiting for an upgrade from ECU and wants the NDSU gig.

Haha the thought is gross I know!

Weerts apparently chose us over KSU. Likely gone?

You don’t just limit yourself by hiring within. Doesn’t hurt to see who’s all interested. Can’t just hire an NDSU guy to hire an NDSU guy.

Also, the arrogance of the KState people on Twitter is funny. They must have forgot we beat them in 13’.

I'm pretty sure Larson's first choice would be Entz or Messingham.

Polasek is set to make $355K next year in Iowa so probably not going to be in the discussion.

Polasek vs Entz would be pretty neck and neck IMO
