NDSU has 3 really great options. Recruiting is absolutely loaded. Things aren't changing.
I’d prefer to take NDSU down at their peak.

Taylor also isn't afraid to make the unpopular decision if he thinks it's the right one. Look no further than his recommendation that NDSU go D1. He has said it himself that he estimated about 10% of NDSU "stakeholders" were on board with the decision, 20% were vehemently opposed (and vocal about it), and 70% were on the fence.

    You have been missed.

I could be wrong but I think it's a myth that it was an unpopular decision to move up. I didn't know 1 person opposed to it. Most people I know thought it was a decade too late.

I would worry about making the playoffs first and then winning a game first.

Well, I'd say Taylor had a pretty good pulse on it and he said in the 2013 season recap DVD/Bluray that "20% were vehemently opposed". He could've been exaggerating I guess. I was in high school at the time so I don't really know.
