Coach of the year has always seemed like a consolation prize. Hardly ever does it go to the most deserving person, in any sport. How many times do we see the coach of the year in one league or another get the axe the following season?

Part of the reason coaches leave - gain experience, broaden their coaching tree and recruiting contacts. It's not a bad thing. Polasek wants to be a HC someday. Hence his reasons for doing as such.

This is what people wanted with Richman, I hope they are enjoying the results.

I probably could have posted this video on a few other threads (or even start a new one), but I thought this was the best place as we get to witness Klieman's last two games, yes, I said last two. Watch 3:15 to 3:50 as that speech is as true as it was then as it was always be in the past and future. Plus, the faces in the background showed how bright the future would and will become.

    Hail the BISON!!!

Randy has 2 kids. 1 in Colorado and 1 in KS. Not sure what his current wife has for kids. Randy was our neighbor when he coached Minot State.

Vigen shouldn't be looked at, he had a shot to go for the job and would rather coach with Benedict Bohl....he can rot in Laramie for the rest of his mediocre career.
