if It were just Klieman and maybe a coordinator leaving maybe a guy from a different region wouldn’t be bad from a recruiting standpoint. Say Choate would have the California west coast and maybe southwest added to our current footprint. But if we did take on a new head coach wouldn’t he have a say in who he wants as assistants? Doubt he would be able to replace anybody we currently hace on staff.

You guys are acting as if he's already gone. While I agree that he wouldn't and shouldn't turn it down, I still have my doubts they will hire him.

If they do, I think it's one of the best possible scenarios for NDSU. It appears he won't be able to take everybody with him, and it makes NDSU's job that much more attractive. NDSU will be able to have their pick of any FCS level coach for the next decade at least.

Where is TAB and his Magic 8 Ball?
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Klieman with media deals is around 500k

Both would be great. Entz would be my first choice since hes awesome and its internal. Polasek #2. Messingham would absolutely go with Klieman.

I'm pretty stunned that Vanables and Leavitt aren't in the running for ksu.

It certainly is better than many FCS landing spots in terms of the gutting (or lack thereof) of the coaching staff and the timing. The Gene Taylor factor should allow some empathy for the situation he's putting Klieman and NDSU in. And the fact that Snyder has a whole staff of assistants that he's still doing to be looking out for and you know Snyder has a strong say in what's happening here.

I know. Saban also said he wouldn't leave for Alabama.
