I just put some creole rubbed organic elk steaks on the Traeger to smoke for 1.5 - 2 hours using a blend of hickory, apple & pecan.

Just picked up a green mountain grills daniel boone pellet grill for a really good deal. Wasn't really in the market for one but a friend of my wife is moving so we grabbed it. Anyone else have a pellet grill/smoker and want to share they're favorite uses?

I like my Traeger. Super easy to use. Nice app with a ton of recipes. I bought a $20 welding blanket to cover it and help keep temp in the winter. Definitely gives meat a better flavor imho. Smoking option is nice.
