Among the things I’ll be watching today:

    - Western Illinois D gives up about 32 points per game

    - Western Illinois OLine has four 1st year starters - 1 Soph and 3 RFr

    - Western Illinois has scored 1st in all 5 of their games.
NDSU has had slow starts lately......

    - Where’s McShane??? - SR RB Steve McShane is the ‘Necks leading rusher And receiver - 44 carries for 274 yards (6.2 ypc) with 2 TD’s - 26 receptions for 195 yards and 4 TD’s

    - And of course SR QB Sean McGuire (6’ 3” 228) - Kolpack had an article about the Bison facing experienced QB’s, including McGuire being a 3rd year starter. He is now Western Illinois’ All-Time leader in yards passing and in TD passes.

Stout guys for the Leathernecks in their 3-4 D......

    http://www.chicagonow.com/prairie-st...t-for-western/

    DE Shabar Wilson - 6’ 0” 295 - Soph
    NT Khalen Saunders - 6’ 2” 310 - SR - Preseason All-MVFC 1st Team

Will the Bison go with lots of double TE? Stay in the base O? Or spread the 3-4 out by passing 1st?
    Or something else?

Saunders (#99) is a player. He'll be playing on Sundays next year. Watching him and Tanner Volson go at it will be a battle.
