UNI Game Travel Plans

I need to book a hotel for the UNI game. I'm wondering if there is a designated spot all the Bison fans will be hanging out Friday night. I'd like to be able to walk back to my hotel.

Country Inn & Suites is about the only hotel reasonably close to UNI campus and it is at least a mile away. Nothing else I would call walkable from the UNI Dome. Most of the Cedar Falls hotels are several miles to the south. There is a new Courtyard hotel in downtown Waterloo that is really nice. It is a rehabbed former John Deere factory building. Not close to UNI but is a pretty nice hotel.

I am staying at the Fairfield in Waterloo. No where near the campus but a nice newer hotel. It's located in the commercial district on the south side of Waterloo. I'm not sure of where I will be hanging out Friday night.
