Hope we get some new renderings specifically of the phase 2 stuff- weight room, the "Closing room" or whatever it is
    1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
    2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.

Breaking ground in July. Planning on a 13 month construction for phase 1 which would make it ready for fall practice of 2022. Glad this is finally getting started.

NoDak insurance is the naming rights. Thanks to them!

Good deal to get it started. The phase 1 is super important. The phase 2 is not vital since we already have some great facilities but when it happens it will be insane. More space and easier for scheduling.

Outdoor lighted field with scoreboard and clocks. Indoor area will be 117k sq ft full 120 yard field field with larger sidelines and a 72 foot high ceiling, scoreboard play clock sound system , and full nettling for baseball, soccer, and softball .

12,000 sq foot weight room. (shelved phase 1) and outfitted for phase 2. 4,700 square foot storage warehouse and 10k square foot operations building with restrooms, and locker rooms.

That's 144k square feet when completed. Keep in mind an average Home Depot is 105k square feet, a Target store is 130k square feet, Super walmart 180k

Foss architects, Interiors of Fargo and Crawford Architecture of Kansas City. Crawford built the IPF for the Vikings and Seahawks.

Phase 1 starts in July but worst case it will be in the ground before winter

Will use Dakota Field in the meantime, the dome and the grass by the track in the mean while.

Also new outdoor track is starting soon

Lots of windows on the side. I like it. But the rendering show windows on the front from the inside, but not the outside. So are they behind that front overhang?

Thrilled this is breaking ground... unlike SDSU and UND -- this is a real practice facility for football! Pretty much the same facility at a high level G5 or P5 program...
