If this hurricane changes paths slightly, UNA may not be going anywhere. Might have 2 bye weeks

They won't have any trouble getting out. Even going back they should be fine even if it turns straight towards them since it's supposed to move super slow and by the time it gets to them it'll be Sunday/Monday and mostly petered out.

Hey now, that's not funny! That would suck. I'd leave now if I were them. That also gives them more time to acclimate to that extra 356' of altitude...

The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

As long as it turns back south once it hits landfall. We just got over the remnants of the last tropical storm. These systems turn in to a 2 or 3 day soaking rain after they finally come on land.

I think their QB looks like a legit dual-threat.

Their head coach was on the Insiders today. Good stuff. I like this guy.

1.5 million residents of the Carolina coast have moved out. I would think a football team with a weeks notice should be able to get out of town as well.

Something I became curious about with the news that Incarnate Word is backing out of its game with UNA at the end of the season to play Iowa State.

"Larsen said NDSU has been assured UNA will reach the NCAA threshold of having at least 60 percent of its schedule against FCS competition in order for it to count as an FCS game for NDSU."

    http://www.inforum.com/sports/427529...ctrination-fcs

UNA currently has 5 D-1 games on their schedule and 5 D-2 games.

    http://www.roarlions.com/schedule.aspx?path=football

This discussion is almost completely irrelevant because it doesn't matter if this game counts as an FCS win or not for NDSU in the long run, but if UNA can't find another FCS game does that mean it doesn't count as an FCS win?

Also shoutout to Incarnate Word for pulling a Montana State on UNA.
