Stats Top 25 Poll, UN_ gets 25 votes for rolling over MVSU.
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

I find it pretty funny that whoever is still voting JMU at #1 in the AGS poll also has another mystery team in front of NDSU since they only got 23 points out of the only poll ballot where they aren't #1. At least the 3 crazies that don't have NDSU at #1 in the STATS poll have them at #2.

Whenever I see this it just makes me roll my eyes. You're #1 until bumped off. Plain and simple. Those JMU and mystery team voters should have their ability to rank removed. Homers.

I'm pretty sure you're right, but I think there's another possibility. I believe the AGS rules are that your #1 vote is disqualified if you are a fan of the team and your vote is the only #1 they get. So an NCAT fan could have voted them #1 and NDSU #2, and a non-JMU fan could have voted JMU #1 and NDSU #2 and the numbers would work out at the top. I didn't do the math to see how it all would work out. I'm bored right now, so I might give it a shot. Easy enough to copy paste into excel.

Yeah, I was going to mention the same thing in response to MrSnuffys post that it couldn't be a JMU voter that voted JMU #1 since they would throw it out then. And I think when that happens they throw out the whole ballot so no teams gets points from it. Besides the math does work out for NDSU to have 2123 in 85 ballots. Their 84 1st place votes are worth 2100 points so that last 23 points is all that's left other than 1st place votes so I think it has to be that last voter has them at #3.

If they throw out the whole ballot, then you're right. And ursus only posts the top 40 vote getters, so you can't figure out the math by counting the total number of points and dividing by 325.
