This is true. I'm a bit surprised they didn't reveal them sooner so that they would be included with this year's promotional items like their poster. Went to see if Scheels has anything online (they function through Fanatics - unfortunately), http://fanshop.scheels.com/COLLEGE_NDSU_Bison_Jerseys, and here is the women's fan jersey:
