Middle of the defense. When NDSU lost to JMU in the semis in 2016 one of the reasons given for the loss was that Tanquay, DeLuca, and Dempsey were all injured and not on the field. They’ve all graduated. That’s a hell of a lot of talent and experience to replace.

I dont know if middle of the defense is referring to free safety though... more strong safety, middle linebacker, and DTs. I think we are good everywhere if Marlette comes back strong and fast or if the young mike backers can play at a high level, or if Jabril can slide to the middle in passing downs. I like our DTs and safeties. The same couldnt br said about the depth when we lost to JMU

Although we dont seen to play our safeties in a traditional way but Grimsley is a stud.

Shouldn't there be more interest in un_ football considering your camp just ended and you should have a whole bunch of D2 and D3 quality commits coming in? I see lots of bitching on the thread about the Englestads. Looks like kennedy sold you down the river again when it comes to giving away the revenue. How? Are you holding a gun to the heads talented recruits? Until your school drops hockey, it's going to be tough to support football like it needs to be in order to be great at the FCS level.
