Oh yeah. Most of it goes to things other than athletics. Athletics is one of the Big Five(I think it's five). I don't know all of them, but athletics, fine arts, and the Union are three of them. The bulk of the activity fee money is split between the Big Five by a funding formula that was set up in the 2000s. The remainder is distributed to the smaller groups by student government.

Take the $37 mill they wanna raise for IPF. Use that towards new stadium.

Raise student fee $100 and use that for 25 year donation x 14,500 students = $36,250,000

4 large corporate donors , each get their own corner of new on campus stadium for product placement, advertising, suites.
$25 million each over 25 years = $100 million.

$173 million 42,000 seat semi enclosed outdoor on campus stadium that NDSU GETS ALL REVENUE (seats, advertising, concessions, suites)
