There are a few questions yet to be answered, like the exact location. Will that large of a structure fit within the framework of the western-most practice field south of the Sanford Health Athletic Complex? Will the road immediately to the west of the practice fields have to be moved farther west? (Update, an NDSU spokesperson says the road will “tentatively” stay but they are not certain yet since there are no firm or final drawings). With locker room space included in the proposal, does that mean NDSU football will have two locker rooms? Will the weight room be a supplement to the training space in the SHAC or will that be the exclusive home to football weight training? How tall? What kind of artificial turf? Will there be garage-type doors to open it up during nice weather? Where will the statue of Craig Bohl go?

I dont know about you but those questions need to be answered sooner than later.

Mudra ought to be the first statue.... Before Mudra the Bison were for decades the doormat of the NCC. Between 1936 and 1962 they were 60-149-7. In that span they never won more than 5 games in a season and were shut out in 4 seasons. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...otball_seasons) The Bison were 0-10 in 1962, the year before Mudra took over. In Mudra's 2nd year the Bison were 10-1 and won the Mineral Water Bowl; in his 3rd year, the Bison were undefeated (most dominate Bison team ever) 11-0 and won Pecan Bowl. The rest, as they say is history.

The real question might be if Craig Bohl donates MILLIONS to the new IPF should his be the first statue??? Otherwise I would vote for Mudra ..

Bohl got a great contract extension but I doubt he has millions laying around to donate. Now if he can survive the full contract he certainly will but a few bad years and Wyoming has shown it will fire someone at the drop of a hat.

Couldn't agree more. Mudra should be the first "statue" if one is ever erected.

IMO NDSU Football is not about one person though it's a program!
