Default Summit League Outdoor Championships (2018)

Got underway this morning in Tulsa.

Great start for Bison sophomore Ben Klimpke in the Decathlaon.

His 100 meter dash time was the best in the group at 10.95 (872 points).

In the long jump, he came within a few inches of his PR leaping 23' 8 3/4" (869 points). This was good enough for 2nd in that event.

At what point does the Summit League force the NDSU T&F teams (especially the women) to split into two squads for the Summit League Championship meet in order to at least get some drama as to who will win it?

Someone posted on twitter that of the 32 Bison women participating in the Summit Championship this week, 11 of them are from Class B schools in North Dakota.

I love the Bison but we need to find another conference. The Summit League is a complete joke!
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.

One is from my old high school (parshall) and there is another from my "new" home of Hillsboro. Both Class B.

Hillsboro girls track has been remarkable lately. 7 in a row state champions in xcountry. Think they've won state a few times in track too now. All without a track to train on, until last summer/fall.

Sent by my phone on a bullet train from Hillsboro.
