The pre-seeds are out now. Rodriguez is #9 at 57 kg, and Zillmer is #2 at 92 kg.

That was a long-arse meeting. I think they overloaded the top side of 125 KG with Bradley, Coon and Steveson. Should be interesting to see how Varner handles Tony Nelson in the QF.

Zillmer should place at his seed and Josh has an excellent opportunity to make a name for himself.

Also, in other news, the Jackrabbits lose Peyton Robb to Nebraska.

Christopher, why is Cox wrestling? He has a bye to the final X series on account of his World Bronze last year.

He had a Bronze last year at 86 KG, but is wrestling up at 92 KG.

Based on his World Cup results, I’m not sure he’s fully ready for the new weight yet. It will be more interesting if he moves up to 97 KG for 2020.

Bison Wrestling Club off to a great start in Junior Freestyle.

Lots of wins and even the losses are impressive. Backup Michael Otomo took Gavin Hoffman (Flo's #5 recruit in the 2018 class) to the wire and lost 10-9.

Brent Fleetwood dropped a 1 point decision to former NCAA champ Darian Cruz too.

Zillmer houses Francois to reach the finals!

Will face World and Olympic Bronze Medalist, J’den Cox, for the title.

Boy did Metz fold in the finals. Let himself get put in position to be pushed out and then kept trying his throw at the edge of the mat and got smoked. Very poor decisions, stumbling around and tired. He seems to lose in weird ways in finals a lot. Still second is very good but.

I think having the match won by technical superiority and then reversed after the challenge took him emotionally out of the match.

Did not like that his failed throws gave Gremmel four points three times. At least of those two should have been only two points since Gremmel scores them defensively.
