    The Drake Relays is such a big deal regionally. Have always wanted to go to that one.

    Payton threw the DISCUS and the SHOT PUT there last year. With the Concordia meet being just a few days before Drake, maybe he will throw just the hammer there?

    Howard Wood in Sioux Falls would be the closest and most likely opportunity to see Payton et al throw. Attending the NCAA national meet is an absolute rush, especially when a Bison athlete is in contention. World class competition at a ridiculously cheap price. If you can, watching that event in person will have you wanting to come back for another.

    In Lincoln:

    Payton Otterdahl has the top throw in the DISCUS Pre-lims.

    On his 1st attempt, he registered a mark of 206' 6".

    This is 5' 2" further than his previous PR and moves him into the number 2 spot on the 2019 NCAA Spring Performance List.

    And.....of course......yet another school record!

    Naturally I moved to Eugene just in time for them to tear apart Howard Wood for two years to rebuild it. Sigh.
