    Payton is the youngest of those guys by 4 years. Shot is one of those events were age tends to produce better results...it isn't all about brut strength. I hope he can keep working and be a medal threat in 3 years in Paris.

    Payton set a new PR in the shot put and finished 2nd in today's Millrose Games in New York.

    72' 2 1/2" (22.01 meters).

    Ryan Crouser won the event with another new world record throw of 76' 8 1/2".

    Those marks were not upheld. Something was wrong with the measuring device.
    They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.
