“Those two gold medals in the hurdles don’t even come close to this (winning a team title),” said Luff, who won the all-class gold in the 110 high hurdles in :14.08 and claimed his first 300 intermediate state title by running a :38.90. He finished the season undefeated in the hurdle events.
“This is everything,” added Luff, who broke the Class A state meet record in the 110 highs and ran the fastest electronic time in state history with a :13.84 in the preliminaries Friday. “This is what we worked for all year.”
