    Lots of big time programs take pride in spring game. Nebraska sold out their stadium. I bet they don't ignore the diverse interests of fans like NDSU is apparently doing. Trying to paint all fans that like to tailgate as a bunch of drunk people who don't care about the game / scrimmage is bullshit. I thought NDSU wanted to grow the football experience, but apparently not.

    I agree. The game itself is always kind of “blah”. Especially with as many starters being out this year. People will show up to tailgate. Especially with a near 60 degree day on the docket. Get the casual fan to the parking lot, maybe they walk in for the game.

    The team Maker's tweeted yesterday with a picture of the lot full from a couple yrs ago tailgate. The tweet said lots of next at 3.
