I always think it sucks that baseball season starts and we are snowing. Too bad college baseball can't start a few months later and give us a chance to watch in June and July at a great stadium like Newman

Yup. It would be awesome to have an indoor football stadium that was also configured for baseball. I am not talking about a billion dollar grandiose facility......something along the lines of 20 to 25 thousand football seats and 5 to 10 thousand baseball seats. Depending upon the rent charged, I doubt an indoor stadium configured for baseball would have an open date in February or March. With the expense of traveling to the southland for late winter/early spring games, upper midwest colleges/U's could stay and play closer to home.

Unfortunately, stadiums that have been designed to host both football and baseball always suck for both sports. I can't think of a single facility that has done it well... although since this is the FB off-season, there will surely be 5 posters, each pissed for some reason, that will do the research to show that it should always be done that way.

BTW - I am currently at the airport in Atlanta and just saw the Bison Baseball team. Some high fives we're exchanged.
    Insert something clever here...

Bison pitcher Riley Johnson pitched a NO hitter today against Central Connecticut! He struck out 8 batters.

First solo Bison no-hitter since 2004, and the first in the nation this year.

Congrats to Riley and Bison baseball. Nice to have some good news given the difficult times for Bison mens and women's basketball.
