Losing home record in conference play, losing home record against DI opponents, fifth straight conference loss..WTF has happened to this program?
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

There are multiple issues....and I don't even know where to start! I thought this may be a down year but never thought it would get this bad. We turn the ball over...We're not athletic enough to play pressure defense....We have no low post threat in our offensive scheme...we live and die with the 3 ball...and, then, we turn the ball over again!

Miller led us with 6 turnovers with Hunter, Jacobsen and Ward having 3 each!

You know what's arguably worse then 15 TO's from Jacobson, PMiller, Cam, and Ward? 4 total rebounds from Eliason, Kreuser, Geu, and DMiller. The perimeter players don't value the basketball and the interior players don't seem to work hard enough to get rebounds.

There are so many things wrong with the culture of this program it's embarrassing. Does the coaching staff still talk about hard nose defense? Because there's none being played on the court for some time now. Does the coaching staff still talk about disciplined basketball? Because there's absolutely none being played on the court for some time now. Not to mention, there is absolutely no accountability from the coaches to the players when the soft, sloppy, undisciplined basketball is being played.

Get used to it. Next year will be the same or worse.

I'm afraid of that. We lose about 1/3 to 1/2 of our scoring. And a great deal of our rebounding and ball handling. Don't know where we're going to go for that.

DR has taken this team as a mid major top 25 program and turned it into a dumpster fire. The team and the staff have all appeared to give up. There is no fire left in anybodies belly in the entire program. DR was in way over his head from the get go. He needed some head coaching experience at the D2 or D3 level first. Hopefully, the athletic department and administration puts a little more thought and vetting into the next coach to lead this program and hopefully it is next year. Just think we passed on Craig Smith...Uggg.

Pretty sure Craig was hired a week or two before Saul left.

As for DR....This program has completely lost its identity and I'm not sure how things get a lot better next year. These young players we will rely on next season aren't really consistent and really haven't improved over the course of the season. It is just a complete mess, Larsen has some big decisions to make.

Craig was already gone when Saul left and IIRC Miles, Saul and potentially even McDermott gave glowing endorsements for DR. At the time it appeared to be a home run hire.

I agree with the rest of your post. We need to have higher expectations
