And it has been pointed out, numerous times, that NDSU does not control the FargoDome, but you continuously whine and blame them, especially Matt Larsen. What is he going to do, tell the FargoDome and City decision makers that the Football team is going elsewhere until the FargoDome holds more people?

In regards to those who are in charge of the FargoDome decisions, should they expand seating at the facility (yes, it can be done) if the demand isn't enough to offset the cost? Try answering this using business logic, not fan logic.

Personally, I too want a bigger facility, but not at an expense that will severely hamper the University and City's financial being.

They can at least propose something. Maybe would be surprised at how received. What are long term plans? Stay same capacity for next 10, 25, or 50 plus years? There is demand for a bigger venue and does NDSU have to stay with the dome forever? First step maybe work on getting state legislature to allow bonding to finance projects with proper backing. South Dakota changed their stance on this several years ago and it helped SDSU finance their new stadium.

So in your mind, none of this has never, ever happened already....numerous times? I've seen the Forum post stories about his issue over the years about the costs, especially regards how it would be cheaper to build a new stadium versus expansion. The demand is nowhere near it needs to be to offset any of those costs.
    Hail the BISON!!!

you are probably correct but they really don’t have a concrete estimate of demand. This recent limited sale of season tickets tells me that anyone that says we’re nearly maxed out isn’t much more than guessing.

Exactly! Those seats had high teammaker dues associated with them and are no measure of real demand. Wow, the crap thrown out by the naysayers just shows how little they have researched this issue. Just status quo. No way, no how. It's a wonder the Fargodome ever got built in the first place.......not possible 23,000 for concerts, no way Bison Football continuously sells out a 18,500 seat stadium!

What research have you done? All you have done is make unfounded accusations and uninformed assumptions.

I will have to disagree with you. NDSU has a very good handle on what current and what possible future demand will be. There is a certain % attrition every year even with winning seasons.. There is a certain % of attrition will happen with down years. And believe it or not they also have to predict apathy. All scenarios have to taken in to account when considering expansion if possible or the construction of a new venue.

But this is all nothing more than mental masturbation if the funding isnt there. Fact is if NDSU AD had 400 million dropped in his lap we wouldnt be having this discussion. Right now NDSUs hands are tied.
