I have no idea what happened in this particular case, but it seems to be increasingly common for kids to make conditional commitments. It happens. If a kid verbals and then makes an official visit to another school the next day, it tells you something. Also, if a kid commits to a school and then gets a dream offer that they didn't expect, a re-evaluation is understandable.

Even then it doesn't matter. One of the top prospects signed with USC and enrolled and started school in January and he is already transferring to Texas. It's crazy how many transfers there are. I hope they dont change having to sit out a year although a lot of kids get waivers to make them eligible right away.

we had Wentz & Stick. no offense to River Falls wisc, but that's not really a powerhouse nor competition wise..

I don't know why some of you are so worked up over this 1.

NDSU should have recruiters in front of 3 and 4 star QB's showing them that we are QB U and NFL pipeline!!

I’m not sure I’d pass up the fargodome and the golden glow of 7 trophies for outside in brookings.

Tough to say but I contend anyone who doesnt want to play outdoors is too soft to play Bison football. The electric game day experience is what sets us apart. Very few recruits who see a game at the dome aren't blown away. Cant be said of most of the FCS or even the G5.

Unfortunately in late January, they can't experience the game day atmosphere.

That's where we need the facilities to set us apart. Hopefully the Indoor Practice Facility gets done sooner than later and we continue with facilities upgrades. Those kind of things cant be the difference in closing a big time player like Jabril Cox, Billy Turner, or Nick DeLuca.

Kids are getting smarter in this process. Schools tell a kid---if # 1 doesnt sign with us then youre it. Or we may have a schollie available but right now we dont---So hang with us. Now kids are saying hey Ill come with you guys unless FBS comes calling. It works both ways.

Plus you have the issue of partial scholarship money to negotiate vs what somebody else offers.

Weather shouldn't be a factor because we usually knock out sdsu before it gets real cold. Plus that game is always played in the dome.

The RB recruit is to be here this weekend. Should be balmy and 77 degrees by Friday. Which is nice. Speed kills.
