All due respect to the folks at herosports but their criteria makes this list ridiculously East Coast biased. You’d think the Big Sky barely exists and the Ivy is the FCS powerhouse from those rankings.

A response to that one would be too easy. But I did notice 7>1.

Ha, knew right when I posted that was ripe for jokes. But just guessing Harvard doesn’t have more top 100 recruits than the whole conference.

I'ver never heard of Our Lady of Good Counsel High School before, but they have the top two recruits listed and both going to JMU. Should be interesting to see how this ranking list pans out. How have previous years panned out?

That is a recipe for high attrition. You want players who absolutely want to join your program. Not reluctantly committing because they feel pressured. Big difference between being assertive and being a pushy used car salesman.

Both Peter Udoibok & Tyler Cooper are both listed as Greyshirts on 247sports so they would actually be joining and counting against the 2020 Class much as Logan Richter from Perham is joining as part of the 2019 Class. So it looks to me like they got 4 more scholarships left for 2019. I’m guessing they’ll focus on trying to get some out of state guys unless something unlikely happens like Bryce Benhart commits which would put NDSU in good shape to possibly land the rest of the top ranked guys like Evan Hull from Maple Grove, Omar Brown from Minneapolis North, Treyton Welch from Buffalo...I think it’s looking more likely that David Roddy from Breck ends up going the basketball route as he recently picked up a Northwestern offer and is gaining more Big Ten interest in hoops.

Make of this what you will: https://twitter.com/JaxonFranken/sta...09197783003136

It seems to be indicating (very indirectly) that NDSU will have a new punter on campus this fall (Nick Phelps from Kingsbury, Iowa.)

Well, the guy can punt, but can he kick it out of bounds?

Definitely not built like your prototypical punter. With a squat of 495 LBS and a deadlift of 550 LBS, who does he lift with - linemen, LBs or RBs?
