I'm Gen X and I couldn't care less

I'm a fossil and don't wear slides* because I'd catch the front of them on something causing me to fall and probably die. But, if I did wear them, I think that I'd forgo the socks which kids nowadays seem to prefer.

* back in my day, we called slides "matin-soulier-de-l'ulepen-lenu" which came from the Lenape word for "one with onion tied to his belt" which indicated a man of style plus "matin-soulier" (morning shoe in Quebecois.)

A lot of Nebraska’s walk-ons are in-state D2 kids, kinda makes sense as an FCS offer might be, say, a 3/4 scholly while a D2 might be only 1/4 - 1/2. IIRC the Cornhuskers have a favorable in-state tuition also, which helps in-state.

This particular recruit has an interesting looking story, perhaps someone will come across a good article on it.

Thanks for the fast answer - I was going to add his Twitter page says German athlete Born and Raised FRA, GER.
So this really makes him new to actually playing football here in America. Combine that with the wrestling photo - interesting raw prospect.
