It's summarized pretty well here: https://247sports.com/college/north-...otball/Offers/

I believe the only FCS battles NDSU has lost are Hoitink to Penn and Bauer to SDSU. There's quite a few losses to FBS... mostly P5 right now.

Edit: I guess it's not as many as I thought

    Akron: (1) LB Jarred Uran
    Cincinnati: (1) DE Izaiah Ruffin
    Iowa: (1) DE Jake Karchinski
Kansas St: (1) ATH Keenan Garber
    Nebraska: (1) OT Matthew Anderson
Miami (OH): (1) ATH Deland McCullough II
Northwestern: (2) DE Adetomiwa Adebawore, WR Wayne Dennis

    Penn: (1) OG Ben Hoitink
    SDSU: (1) WR Canyon Bauer

Bauer wasn't listed on 247 so it's possible there's others I'm not aware of that also weren't on there.

Very much appreciated; I think your two posts together give a great perspective on how NDSU is doing relative to their FCS and G5 peers.

I’d add Matt Cavanagh of Edina to the list of NDSU offerees going elsewhere on the FCS level (Harvard)

    Penn: (1) OG Ben Hoitink
    SDSU: (1) WR Canyon Bauer

Good call, I forgot about that one and 247 never listed it.

Thanks. I thought I had missed someone that had gone to Harvard but couldn't think of who. I also forgot that NDSU reportedly offered Thomas Motzko shortly before he committed to SDSU so that would be another.

So it would break down like this.

Pretty good start I'd say to the 2019 recruiting season.

Were getting so good we can now pull Illinois kids with G5 offers. The only time we seem to lose is someone who wants to go Ivy League or has a power 5 offer. Nobody can really compete with Ivy for flat out education or Power 5 schools but we have won some of those battles

You can add Javier Derritt to the UN_ list as well. He definitely had a hawk offer according to 247 https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Ja...ruitInterests/

Is the consensus now that the recruit rush is over? Or do we expect a couple yet?

Typically we get the guys who go to the camp to commit within a few days. Not sure how many other camp players have offers out.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing it spread out a little. With the 2 signing day classes, there are a ton of gems/overlooked players who peaked late in the year for the later February signing day period. When you sign too many guys in June, you run the risk of them having a crappy senior and blowing all your scholarships in one sitting. For that reason I like the blue chippers early, some later in the year, and a handful in February. We got 4 really good players in February, the 3 kids from Florida and Jasir Cox.

Very logical. Get on the horn and give Coach K some tips on how to recruit.
