I've kinda learned to take these too good to be true guys with a grain of salt until they sign. How big a worry is there that some major FBS school will swoop in at the last moment like they did with Ron Audette? It just seems like some of these schools let us do the leg work and then poach what they need, knowing that we go after top notch talent.

Do you think with jabril being here other mvfc teams didn't even bother knowing he was pretty much ndsu bound unless he got fbs offers? Put your time and effort into other kids.

Jasir Cox was actually an under the radar prospect. I believe he took his visit to Iowa (Coach Polasek) when he only had an offer from a junior college. Shortly after this NDSU offered, soon South Dakota did as well.
Iowa has been racking up a lot of PWO’s already (10 total so far), with I believe 3 being LB’s. So it might take a different FBS school than Iowa to get involved for Jasir Cox to get that FBS scholly.

Miege all-state DB Jasir Cox commits to FCS power and national champion North Dakota State. His brother Jabril Cox led the Bison in tackles this fall and was only a freshman.
Big pickup for Bison, very underrated prospect

Well, If he turns out to be a TB, great, but no one expected TB to turn out the way he did. So, basically, we are taking a chance. I’m ok with that because of what and who we otherwise have on team and have committed. Just sayin’!
