Correct! I hope ND has their success.....there are always outliers.

The notion is being a UFA allows one to pick the place they might have more success at whereas being drafted one has no say and might not be in the best possible situation.

The flip side is drafted equates to guaranteed $$$. Plus, you get to belong to a pretty cool fraternity.

At the end of camp, the only thing that matters is if you make a squad or practice squad.

There are a very small number of people who get to do his job. Like...incredibly small. Tough to get a job there.

Shoulder is healed. Knee wasnt a serious tear. Dude was invited to the senior bowl and on the Butkus list so he wasnt just some fcs guy. His size is also prototypical and is great in coverage. It's all about the combine
