    I thought JMU was good. They probably have less land than all the eliminated teams combined. In fact, they probably have less land than just USD and West Florida

    JMU is 11-0 in the FCS, but a bunch of the teams they beat either lost their previous game(and so lost their territory) or hadn't captured much from others. You can't capture territory that your opponents don't have.

    Also more teams on the east coast. So when you win a game, you don't get a tenth of the country like out west haha.
