We got the OBX!
Went there this summer and my nieces got smacked talk by folks when they found out they were from Fargo... nieces all went to Concordia though.
BTW, if Ohio State wants North Dakota, they should come and take it from the team that owns it.
That map is worthless when you consider how much population density varies from county to county.
It's OK to not be OK.
Resurrecting this thread since someone is doing an FCS imperialism map this year. Think it's an NDSU fan, but don't know if it's a BV poster.
PLEASE READ FIRST:
Just to go over the rules, counties are initially assigned solely on the basis of geography. It's derived from the distance of the midpoint of the county to the location of the school. Alaska is initially weird due to no FCS schools in the state and the curvature of the Earth. Each week, the winners claim any territory owned by the losers. FBS games don't count but DII games do. By the end of the season, the national champion should own the entire US but likely won't because of some DII wins and no way to get the territory back.
The first three maps for 2019 will follow.
Initial map of 2019. Again, remember that it's solely based on geography, not popularity, so no whining about the size of UND's share or that NDSU should have a bigger share of Minnesota or whatever.
Current territory tally: NDSU
NDSU claims Butler's original territory in Indiana.
Current territory tally: NDSU, Butler
Whats alaska before the season? EWU country? That should really be true to size pic.
So, what happens now to land that can't be won like USD?
