To Cole Davis and all the others just like him present and past. Ditto on the Dilly Dilly.
    From the movie THE PROGRAM

Regent Chairman: This is not a football vocational school. It's an institute for higher learning.
Coach Winters: Yeah, but when was the last time 80,000 people showed up to watch a kid do a damn chemistry experiment? Why don't you stick the bow-tie up your ass?

Reminds me of when Earl Solmonson talked about Gary Barta after the 86 season. He said you can't win without guys like him. I was only 15 at the time but will never forget it.

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

Barta and Bentrim were seniors in 86. Bentrim started all of the games from midway in his freshman season until he graduated unless he was injured.

pretty sure Easton was injured enough at some points in 2016 that Cole shoulda gotten some starts.

Looks like Cole Davis found a post grad job ...

"Wentz tabs his former backup to help lead foundation"

FTA: Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz hired his former backup at North Dakota State to help lead his A01 Foundation. Operating AO1 is a three-man job between Wentz, his brother Zach Wentz and Cole Davis. Davis’ job as director of operations carries a multitude of responsibilities with fundraising and organizing various events at the top of the list. Davis graduated from NDSU last December and finished his career less than a month later with the Division I FCS national title win over James Madison.
