It really doesn't matter but I could see a coach whose team won every game they played this this season voting his team number one. Obviously A&T is not in the same caliber as NDSU or JMU..or SDSU for that matter but it would be tough as a coach of an unbeaten team to believe that.

FWIW there were 4 voters in the FBS AP poll who voted UCF as the #1 team in the nation. Of course UCF (or their conference) didn't willfully exclude themselves from the playoffs either.
