It will likely be THE option going forward. With the world population growing unchecked, there is going to be a serious food crisis soon. If we can't figure out something alternative, we are looking at the newest "genetic bottleneck".

"Nature" generally has a way of balancing itself out in the long run. They will only keep reproducing and growing in population if there is sufficient food to sustain that growth.

I figured that "sustainable living" by definition is something that everyone will need to adapt... not just hippies. If we want to continue living on the planet, we will necessarily need to live sustainably.
