Wow, that really was a fumble. The refs got it right on the field and in the booth. JMU's local paper got a perfect photo of the play, showing the knee just barely touching the ground and the ball already sliding out of the runner's grasp.

Had no idea at the stadium...at the half I was in JMU Fan dominated Mens room and it was a Full-on Bitchfest by them about the call. I wish I'd had streamers with me to hand to them to wipe their purple tears away.

They were all jmu forced all those turnovers against SDSU. Now it’s well jmu gave away all those mistakes. No credit to the bison d for playing an unbelievable game today.

Could be that the Purple Streamer receivers were Dukeeing in their pants while running routes, scared to death of Bison defenders breaking their ribs when the ball arrived.

Being there, this is true. It became pretty evident that those buying tickets in August were pretty much all Bison fans.

I agree with that. The SRO area above section 101/102 was all JMU that I could see and they were numerous. Most of the fans I encountered up in the concourse on that side were also JMU as expected. We were in 102 just north of the JMU allotment and it was a pretty great atmosphere. Both sides were making themselves heard and supporting the teams. JMU fans I encountered were just great before, during and after the game. Many of them initiated congratulatory handshakes and expressed best wishes and the hope to meet again as you would expect. There were of course a couple who were no longer enjoying their day.

Now I haven't had a chance to watch the game yet, had to listen on radio due to work, but I'm wondering, how many Tatanka sightings? I would think our resident media hound would be good for a couple.

None that I saw, but I didn't watch that closely.
