She is finally putting together 4 good rounds. In the past she seemed to always have one stinker in there. It still kind of happened last weekend with that last round at even as there were a lot of players going lower. Consistency consistency consistency

Also seems like she is playing to win these days Fanatic, and going for birdies and lower with great confidence and enthusiasm when the course allows! Ron Stockton might just be a heck of a coach, and part of it might be time in grade. Can’t discount marrying Grant, who was to tackles at NDSU what Amy seems to be becoming to birdies and more...a machine! Didn’t he have 29 in one game? Could be tough for Amy to match that one though, or who knows?!?

Probably the best stretch of golf she’s played since the start of her rookie campaign when she was 7th in Hawai’i and had some other results. But it’s two weeks and it’s golf. These are positive results and they may indicate truly improved form, however, this is a game characterized by high variability. She said at the beginning of last season that she was playing more aggressively. It didn’t seem to translate to results then. I think it’s still the correct approach, it’s just not a new one for her.

Even if you believe that the personal translates to the professional, her relationship isn’t a new thing either.

Good points Audit! It’s likely a combination of her coach, approach, strength, age, caddy, personal life, time in grade, and several other nuances. If pressed I would say it is her current swing, approach, improved putting, and support system all meshing nicely now. Her swing was very good, but is a thing of beauty now! Whatever it is let’s pray it keeps rolling! And as you might have guessed, I am certain that it will! May occasionally be a little like the stock market, but ultimately will be up!

Absolutely Audit. Could be! As philosopher Jean Paul Sartre put it, "Life is an empty bubble on the sea of nothingness".

I’m just saying that 8 rounds of golf isn’t much evidence. I’m excited and hopeful for her and appreciate the hard work that she and her team have no doubt put in, I’m just not entirely convinced that we’ve seen enough yet so say she’s made a leap forward. I want it to be true, but that isn’t enough to make it so.

Another very good interview after her third round at the ANA. Amy’s poise and smile are right up there with her swing!:

Grant Olson of the Bison racked up an incredible 29 tackles in one game against Wofford. This piqued my curiosity as to who has had the most birdies in a professional golf tournament. Here is the answer!:

But would you agree Amy is way cuter than you? (I am sure Grant does not read this so safe to answer.....)
