San Fran this week. Then probably Texas, field isn’t posted yet but she’s played there in the past. Followed by, I assume, a US Open Qualifier.

They are playing at Lake Merced in Daly City. Tough course, however they have
taken a lot of trees out since we had the US Junior in 1990. Tiger lost
in the semis there when he was 14.

They have updated the field now for Texas and Amy does not show up. It does show Kim Kaufman to be playing though. Wonder why she is not playing this one?

Looking at the schedule and including a sectional qualifier and the US Open she could, in theory, play 11 events in 12 weeks which is a lot of competitive golf. Maybe nice to have a rest/travel/tune up week going into qualifying?

There are 25 qualifying events over 16 days in different parts of the country and around the world so it could be that the location she’s selected (or been assigned to?) is on a day too close to the Texas event. For instance there’s a sectional in Chicago the Monday immediately after the Texas event.

Makes sense BisonAudit! Even with the Midwestern work ethic she’s gotta rest sometime!

Here is to Amy riding a wave of good play. Feeling good that NDSU won the Summit league. Now time for a win or at least top 10 finish for Amy.
