I like this pairing and look for Amy to continue her streak of cuts made and much more! GoAmy! GoBison!!

Evidently Whan has put me on a “need to know” basis dufferole! Thanks for that clarification! Wonder why a three day? Trying to allow an extra travel day after the US Open? In any case, on a better note, Amy is listed in one of the featured groups for the Friday start!:

Not sure why but the ShopRite has been just three days for as long as I’ve been paying attention and in that span this is the first time it’s been staged the week after a major.

Most of the LPGA tourneys were 3 day events. Not sure why
,maybe 4 days were deemed too strenuous. They had a lot of weird ideas about women athletes years back.

Perhaps the biggest reason just may be the SPONSORS may not be willing to pay for 4 days..

Not sure where the huge additional expense would be on there end. Prize money doesn’t seem to be much different. The course is there’s all week just as it is for a 72 hole event. I guess I’m not sure what the ROI on golf channel impressions is for a grocery store chain? Could be. I think this is the only scheduled 54 hole event left on tour.

Does AO have investors that she is paying back? Thought I heard that she did when she first joined the tour.
