Crazy 2nd round in the Kia Classic. She started on the back nine and birdied 11,12, and 13. She then bogied 16,17, and 18. She had 2 birdies on the front nine to finish the round at 2 under and sits at even par for two rounds which is where the cut line is at right now.

It appears as though she is playing with a totally different strategy this year dufferole, much more aggressively and playing to win. I think that she has proven that she can grind it out with the best of them shooting par after par after another par, but this is new it seems, and may be a product of her new coach who stresses birdies and more birdies. No missed cuts yet this season even with that being the case. Go Amy, Go Kim!!

Amy birdied the last hole to finish 1 under par in a round that included an eagle. She finished her round b4 the leaders had teed off. Go low tomorrow, Amy.

If she can find a way to rally a bit today, she can leapfrog a lot if players in short order! She proved last week that she is able to do that!

Another round in the 60’s dufferole and she went 2 under on the par 5s and a very nice 16/18 GIR. 30 putts however, so Stockton might need to work even harder to earn his reputation in that area. No cuts missed this year and a lot of nice highlites.
Kim ended up at -3 and is not playing to the same level as last year yet.
