The Bison will take on the host school of UTEP in the championship game of this 4 team tournament. Tip off is set for 8pm and video is provided through the UTEP athletic site. Note it is not free though.

UTEP is currently 5-6 and has a 4 game winning streak coming into tonight. Their head coach resigned earlier this year after the Miners got off to an awful start. They have recently picked up some decent wins over Washington State and New Mexico.

Vegas is calling this a pick em. This is a game the Bison should have a good chance of winning if they play well.

6’ 8” Paul Thomas - JR - 8.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg
6’ 7” Jake Flaggert - SR - 0.9 ppg, 0.8 rpg
6’ 3” Omega Harris - SR - 12.7 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 2.2 apg
6’ 5” Keith Frazier - SR - 13.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg
6’ 1” Kobe Magee - FR - 3.8 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 1.3 apg

Could be a matchup of FR point guards - sounds good for the Bison.
UTEP’s 7 footer has been out with a broken hand, so it is a good matchup size-wise for NDSU (unlike Arizona)

Was surprised to look up RPI and see UTEP is at 260, NDSU 120.
Something about UTEP at home makes me think they are the favorite, hope the Bison pull it off. Glad to see the switch in the starting lineup for the Bison!
