Clay with 4 NF and RT to pick up a major dec. That was much needed. NDSU up 13-6 and a pair of top 20 wrestlers up now with Fogarty vs (Greco stud) Chavez.

NDSU needs to win this one and steal a match between 184-HWT

Nevermind, looks like Simaz is wrestling instead of Chavez. His brother was an absolute stud for Cornell a few years ago

Announcers: "North Dakota State is bringing the wood to Cornell". Accurate so far.

Fogarty with a great first period and leads 8-1 with RT over two minutes

Fogarty just misses the tech fall and wins 19-5 for the major decision and NDSU leads #11 Cornell 17-6. Cornell favored heavily here, but if NDSU can steal one of 184-HWT, they will win.

Popp (he mistakenly said his own name wrong and said his name was Poop when he checked in) facing returning All American Brandon Womack.

Man! Popp with two near misses, the second resulted in him getting cradled for 4 at the end of the period. He trails 6-1 after one, but he's put himself in poistion to score multiple times

Popp loses 9-5. Got a third period takedown and continually put himself in position to score. I like him.

If McNutt is to win this match, he has to win it on his feet. Dean isn't as great as his multi time NCAA champ brother on top, but he is very good and significantly stronger than McNutt. He is vulnerable on his feet.

Just need one of these last three matches to go our way and we win the dual.

McNutt up 3-2, even after a challenge didn't go our way (and it should have). He's getting to the legs with relative ease. keep the pace high and only quality attacks, and he can win this

Trails 5-3 after the first now. I'd still pick down, but the key is Quality attacks and high pace on the feet

McNutt did pick down and it was a mistake. Dean rides out and leads 5-3 heading to the third with RT nearly locked. Dean just ground away that period
