Montana St.? What on earth have the cats done to warrant a mention here? They are an afterthought in their own state. All they want is to beat the Griz, nothing elite in that.

But are you really on the cusp of being a great program when your playoff losses (especially the last four years) have been such epic failures?

Montana St has a following, a nice stadium, and whatever. The team sucks, but at least the other end of the field isn't Ford F150 models.

Thats how watered down this level of football became once GSU, App, ODU and others have left.

NDSU that's it. We've subsidized the fcs for years now. No one else is close
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?

All true, their tailgating is above average, as well. And yes we sure do miss the schools you mentioned. For the foreseeable future it's us and JMU plus 1 or 2 2nd tier FCS teams on contention.

FCS isn't that watered down. NDSU is just awesome.

No purple there, the FBS games speak for themselves. Nobody else in the history of FCS has done what NDSU has done. JMU has finally matched that level of play. I hope they stay FCS, we need to keep teams like them.

Like I said, I agree with what he said, as in not what he meant. They're the 3rd wheel, always tagging along with the big boys but not deserving it since 2011.
