I'm actually also a coach, though I'm a fastpitch softball coach (mine are both girls, no football in my house) so I enjoy talking football with someone. Right now it's you guys, but if it offends you can't you block me or something. Or I'll go back with the JMU homers, it's just not often we run into a team that actually has a fanbase.

Quick edit, the high school team I coach has won 3 straight state championships. My smart-aleck daughter, a senior who is not going to JMU next year, asked me if I was going to stick around long enough to go for the NDSU one for the thumb. I guess she's assuming she's going to win a fourth this spring, but she's certainly enjoyed calling us the Bison of high school softball.
Any players on your team going DI? If so you should tell them to research NDSU softball. They're kind of a big deal

Our past 3 classes have sent 2 players to Duke, 1 to Virginia Tech, 2 to East Tennessee State, 1 to Presbyterian, 1 to Gardner-Webb, and 2 to top flight D3 programs. However, we are starting to see local players heading out to the midwest. 3 have gone to Oakland (just outside Detroit, I believe). North Dakota might be a tough sell for an VA softball player

We get quite a few Cali girls so not as tough as you'd think.

@NdsuTroll it’s going to be funny when JMU fans realize that NDSU already owns most of the tickets... #NoStreamersNoConcessions
Take back every bad thing I've ever said about Keeler.

If they like to win and compete in the NCAA championships they might just like North Dakota State.

I dont expect either QB to play super well. However, Stick doesnt need to throw for 200+ and multiple tds to win. Can Jmu say the same about Schorr?

Not saying it's warranted but when you dumptruck the only team to beat NDSU this year it's pretty easy for them to extrapolate that into confidence matching up against NDSU. I don't think their fanbase as a whole is any more confident than JSU was back in 2015. In fact it may be slightly more tolerable since everything isn't all #buttAuburn. At least JMU fans know better than to resort to #buttPirates (a.k.a. East Carolina)... at least I hope they do.

Their more knowledgeable posters know that this will be a tough game.
Doesn't hurt that they beat NDSU last year too. Not unreasonable to be feeling confident.

Should be a good game. Actually looking forward to this one

Hahaha! You're being modest. JMU won 50 or more games in each of the past two seasons. Not to mention that JMU has hosted an NCAA regional - something NDSU has never done.

Point is, JMU softball is pretty dang good.
