they did play against some really good D's so their O should get a bit of a bump closer to 1. Likewise, our D and O should get bumped down a bit for all the cream puffs we played....Just saying!

On paper, this is pretty damn close.

Of course, there will be arguments about strength of schedule, bracket strength, etc... the reality is:

    - Top 2 ranked teams going into the season
    - Top 2 teams going into the playoffs
    - Both teams are conference champs in arguably the toughest conferences in FCS
    - They both lit up the semi's

Looking forward to a strong showing by the Bison faithful in Frisco.

Last year's post-game press conference (with Chase, MJ, Lechler, Ambrosius) was brutal to watch- I'm sure there are some Bison players/coaches that are jacked up for this one.
Obviously their offense is their weak point. Then again, our defense is pretty nicked up.

I’ve always felt Sheperd could play RB.

Outside of the corners the defense is probably as healthy as it has been since before Deluca got hurt. I think a lot of us are overreacting to the corners getting hurt. The key to beating JMU is to slow down their run game and put pressure on Schor (which is the same way to beat the Bison just replace Schor with Stick). I think the Bison defense is much better equipped in the front 7 this year to do that and it'll just come down to which team can better impose it's will offensively.

I believe Cofield will also be back. Another WR that can make the switch is Williams. It's nice to have three weeks and a smart coaching staff to get this team ready.
    Hail the BISON!!!

Here are some Sagarin 'opinions' from his computer model:

    Strength of Schedule
    NDSU 140
    JMU 160

    Sagarin Ranking
    NDSU #34
    JMU #46

While NDSU is ranked higher in both categories, there is not a big difference here.

Wait till we all watch the Streamer Troopers* laying waste to the JMU faithful. Will there be rioting? Tear gas? Tears?

How about Dimitri Williams? He plays hard every down whether blocking on O, or special teams. Did you see him obliterate SHSUs returner forcing a fumble. He has a toughness about him, he's been getting better and better carrying the ball on returns as well.

Long shot they'd need a wr to fill in at RB, but a agree Williams would be the most likely.
