Robbie Grimsley seems like a major snub at this point.
Yep, or Dempsey, or Allison? But, I am sure the entire team doesn't give two shits about individual awards, it's about the team. Just like KC Keeler said today on the Michaels noon KFAN show. Briscoe is the consummate team player and the best leader he as ever been around. Briscoe doesn't care about the Walter Payton award or any personal award, he only wants to win and a national championship, not another trophy on his mantel. For a moment during KC's interview I thought I was going to cry.
Was also surprised that there weren’t more on there also. Oh well I guess. Our guys would rather have more title trophies.
Run the damn ball!! PRO FBS
Just like All-conference, there are politics involved in AA selection.

Definitely think grimsley and tre should have made it. I think part of the thing is we have such a balanced team that stats get spread out between multiple guys so one guys doesn't have crazy numbers. We have team guys not me guys

I haven't gone back and looked at the stats but haven't we averaged like 3.5 1000 yard rushers every season dating back to 2006? Just think how great the stats would be for only 1 RB that got all the touches a la Zenner. /purple
You are right though there is a ton of "Bison fatigue" or sympathy to other teams by the time award season rolls around. Wouldn't be fair to win all the conference championships, then all of the national championships and then claim the most AA spots. There is a lot to be said about our young men fitting into the culture where when everyone does their job the result ends up greater than the sum of all it's parts.
