Still hate all the conference matchups in the early rounds sux for everyone:
Two best teams in the Southern, Big Sky, and CAA playing each other and 2 second place teams in MVFC playing each other. They should all be close game unless JMU destroys Stony which wouldn't be a surprise.
South Dakota looks really banged up and tired especially on defense. Wouldn't be surprised if they lost by 4 TD's.
UNH will get destroyed and had no business being in the playoffs. They barely won against a bad team who didn't have their starting QB.
JSU could be in for a dogfight with first team to 10 winning.
My take on difficulty of second round opponents:
1. UNI
2. Weber
3. Furman
4. USD
5. Stony Brook
6. Kennesaw
7. San Diego
8. New Hampshire
2-5 are pretty up in the air in my opinion. New Hampshire looks bad.
I didn't want to start a new thread and jmu is in the second round.
Seems the jmu coach took his name out of the running for the GSU job.
Will this cause focus to be lost? We had quite the upheaval when Bohl did his thing during the playoff run. I don't think any other group of players had the focus those guys had.

I imagine him taking his name out of the running would give the players comfort rather than cause them to lose focus. I'm interested to see how the December signing period and the coaching carousel interact. Imagine signing your LOI and finding out the coach is leaving the next week.

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.
